Over 5,000 visitors, 131 exhibitors from 10 countries, 75 vehicles and 10,360 m² of exhibition space – this is how this year's TRANSEXPO International Fair of Public Transport c makes its mark in history. From 14 to 16 October, Expo Kielce was a venue for premieres, presentations of modern technologies, industry conferences, and meetings of representatives of the public transport sector.

Bus Premieres and Innovative Technologies

TRANSEXPO featured vehicles from 15 brands, including the Polish premiere of the Solaris Urbino 10.5 electric and the Autosan SANVIA12NF D. Electric and hydrogen-powered buses attracted considerable interest, alongside innovative solutions designed to transform the day-to-day operation of public transport. Highlights included the debut of the PIXEL Aura system, biometric solutions from SYSTEmEG, including the MIG ticket terminal featuring facial recognition, and SmartDEPOT, an intelligent depot management system developed by Autonomous Systems. Visitors could also explore advanced powertrain technologies, safety systems and passenger information solutions.

Conferences, Debates and Industry Awards

Meetings between experts and transport operators formed an important part of the event. The Transport Conference organised by the Polish Chamber of Road Transport and Forwarding (PIGTSiS) addressed key issues including public transport funding, road safety and cyber threats. The industry agenda was also preceded by the Technical Conference of the Chamber of Urban Transport, which reviewed a decade of experience with electromobility and explored developments in on-board electronics and evolving passenger expectations.

The TRANSEXPO gala featured the presentation of trade show medals and distinctions, as well as the announcement of the winners of the Polish Bus of the Year 2026 and BUS GURU 2026 competitions.

Transport Heritage and Championship Thrills

Visitors were drawn to the 6th Historic Bus Exhibition, headlined by a 1938 Chevrolet from the pre-war era. On the final day of the trade show, the Polish Professional Bus Drivers’ Championship reached its climax. Mateusz Tuzinowski took first place, followed by Rafał Rusiecki and Katarzyna Wojdanowicz, who also won the title of the championship’s top female competitor.

Three days of the trade show were filled with business discussions, product presentations, the exchange of expertise, and the forging of new connections. This year’s edition reaffirmed TRANSEXPO’s position as a key meeting place for manufacturers, transport operators, local government representatives and public transport experts.
