An agreement on the joint organisation of the IDA Bootcamp 2026 project was signed during the 34th International Defence Industry Exhibition at Targi Kielce. The cooperation is designed to help Polish startups, technology companies and research teams develop solutions that address the specific needs of the Polish Armed Forces.

The Armament Agency has signed two contracts with Polish entities during the 34th International Defence Industry Exhibition at Targi Kielce. The agreements cover the delivery of passive location radars and more than 1,000 charges designed to destroy naval mines.

What will happen to SAFE funding that other EU countries fail to use, and could SAFE 2.0 become a reality? The future of European defence financing was discussed at MSPO by Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence. Localising production in Poland, technology transfer, developing maintenance and service capabilities, joint research and development projects, and expansion into third markets were identified as the key areas for further Polish-Korean cooperation during the panel discussion “Poland-Korea Cooperation in the Defence Industry: Opportunities and Challenges”, held at MSPO 2026 at Targi Kielce.

One of the most distinctive systems on display at this year’s International Defence Industry Exhibition has a name to match. The “Monster from Tarnów” – an unmanned aerial vehicle countermeasure system using the 12.7 mm WLKM multi-barrel machine gun – is being presented at Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa’s exhibition at MSPO 2026 in Kielce.

On 8 September, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Export Development Canada (EDC), Canada’s export credit agency. The agreement was signed during the International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce, with Canada serving as the Leading Country at this year’s event.

“MSPO is a global trade show. Today, we can proudly say that Poland’s defence industry is a driving force behind our economy and a globally recognised brand,” said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during a press conference at Targi Kielce on Tuesday, 8 September. The significance of the International Defence Industry Exhibition was also highlighted by Deputy Minister Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka.
