The gala was one of the key events in the programme of the first WinDoGlass Innovation. Opening the ceremony, Dr Andrzej Mochoń, President of EXPO KIELCE, thanked exhibitors for placing their trust in the new event and highlighted the principles governing the presentation of trade fair awards.

The decision on who receives medals and distinctions is not made by the organiser. The products submitted for evaluation are assessed by a panel of industry specialists and experts. As the President of EXPO KIELCE emphasised, this approach is intended to ensure the most objective assessment possible, while the awards themselves are expected to gain prestige as the event develops.

Practicality and solutions that bring something new

Karol Klos, Managing Director of Forum Branżowe, spoke about the work of the judging panel.

– We tried to recognise products that genuinely improve something, change something and, above all, are practical. The panel’s deliberations were very productive and ran smoothly, he said.

He noted that the experts assessed more than the solutions themselves. The way exhibitors presented their products was also important, particularly their ability to clearly communicate the benefits of a product both to industry professionals and to people without a technical background.

– I hope that at future editions the panel will have even more products to assess and that our visits to the stands will take even longer. Congratulations to all the winners, and I am delighted that we had the opportunity to see so many interesting solutions, Karol Klos added.

WinDoGlass Innovation 2026 winners

In the Finished Products category, the WinDoGlass Innovation Distinction went to R&D TECH for Sky Roller – an automatic measuring device for cutting processes. A second distinction was awarded to PORTA KMI POLAND for its Interior Doors – the PORTA BELLARO door collection with a 100% waterproof Hydro Protect frame.

The WinDoGlass Innovation Medal in this category went to Gdańska Fabryka Okien for the VEKA Pure window.

In the Production Components category, distinctions were awarded to MAAG Polska for MAAGtherm Profil Alu ONE, SAINT-GOBAIN INNOVATIVE MATERIALS POLSKA for CLIMATOP® PRIME – premium insulating glass units for demanding projects, and OTTIMO SYSTEMS for SP 840 OptiGlass Profi Box – a professional kit for removing scratches and abrasions from glass.

Medals in this category went to ISO-Chemie for ISO-BLOCO HYBRATEC – a multifunctional sealing tape for window-to-wall connections, and GRUPA MAGNUM for XPET – thermal insulation sub-sills with a proprietary locking system tailored to the frame profile.

From 5 to 200 years – industry anniversaries

The first WinDoGlass Innovation gala was also an opportunity to celebrate significant anniversaries of companies and organisations associated with the industry.

The Polish Aluminium Association is marking its 5th anniversary, Windoormatic its 10th, and Proventuss its 20th. The Polish Windows and Doors Association – POiD and SOMFY are both celebrating 30 years, while FAKRO and Wrzeciono are marking 35 years in business.

A particularly significant anniversary is being celebrated by Soudal – the 50th anniversary of the Silirub brand. The longest history among the organisations and companies honoured belongs to Pilkington IGP, which is celebrating an impressive 200th anniversary.

The first WinDoGlass Innovation gala therefore brought together what is new in the industry with the experience of companies that have been active in the market for many years. The award-winning solutions highlighted the sector’s directions of development, while the anniversaries served as a reminder of the history and achievements of the businesses and organisations helping to shape it.
