Aluminium in the spotlight at WinDoGlass Innovation

What role does aluminium play today in the production of windows, doors and other building joinery, and in which direction will this market segment develop? These were among the issues discussed by experts during the panel “Aluminium – the optimal material for the production of windows and doors”, held as part of the inaugural WinDoGlass Innovation at EXPO KIELCE.

The panel brought together representatives of the aluminium industry, manufacturers and the academic community. The discussion focused on the potential of aluminium in modern window and door manufacturing, new technologies, development trends and the challenges facing the industry.

The speakers included Andrzej Michalski-Stępkowski of the Polish Aluminium Association, Jacek Madura of AGH University of Science and Technology, Karol Robaczyński of Aliplast Extrusion, Artur Blukacz of Aluron, Marta Ludwikowska of Extral and Wojciech Sikor of Final.

The experts discussed, among other things, the growing role of aluminium in window and door manufacturing, its properties and design potential, as well as solutions addressing changing market requirements. The prospects for further industry development were also an important part of the discussion.

The event itself also featured in the conversation. Panel moderator Andrzej Michalski-Stępkowski of the Polish Aluminium Association commented on the atmosphere surrounding the inaugural edition of WinDoGlass Innovation and the interest it had generated among industry representatives.

“We can all see how lively the show is today. I think it will continue to grow,” he said.

The panel “Aluminium – the optimal material for the production of windows and doors” provided an opportunity to exchange expert knowledge and experience, as well as to discuss the future of one of the key materials used in modern window and door manufacturing.

The inaugural International Windows, Doors and Glass Trade Show WinDoGlass Innovation brought together industry representatives, manufacturers, experts and specialists at EXPO KIELCE, creating a platform for showcasing new solutions, business meetings and discussions about the future direction of the market.
