Building security is no longer limited to robust doors, appropriate hardware or resistant windows. It is a comprehensive system that must take into account changing regulations, new types of threats, user requirements and the development of smart technologies. These issues will be discussed by specialists on 25 and 26 September at Targi Kielce.

New requirements, risks and opportunities

The first panel will begin on Friday, 25 September, at 10:00 a.m. on the main stage. The discussion, entitled “New Regulations, New Risks, New Opportunities”, will focus on the impact of changing requirements on the design and security of buildings.

The session will be moderated by Jacek Grzechowiak, Risk and Security Manager at RiskResponse. The discussion will feature Marcin Pyclik, President of the Polish Chamber of Security, Bartosz Martyna, Co-founder of Global Security Partner, and Andrzej Andrzejewski, Security Market Development Manager at Winkhaus Polska.

At 10:45 a.m., the next panel, “RC Classes in Practice: Requirements, Challenges and Real-World Applications”, will begin. Experts will explain what burglary resistance classes mean in practice and the challenges faced by joinery manufacturers and component suppliers when implementing such solutions.

The discussion will be moderated by Maciej Żyła, Head of the Building Technology Laboratory. The panel will feature Tomasz Czupryniak from Krishome, Szymon Dybała from Veka Polska and Janusz Grześkowiak from Winkhaus Polska.

Electronic access control and RC classes in practice

The next part of the programme will take place in Room 802. During demonstrations of the blueEvo system, participants will learn about the capabilities of electronic access control and see how the system works in practice. The demonstrations will be led by Andrzej Andrzejewski and Wiktor Skorupka on Friday at 12:00 noon and 3:00 p.m.

During the “RC Classes Explained” sessions, Janusz Grześkowiak will explain how to approach window security comprehensively and how to make the most of the potential offered by individual resistance classes. The presentations will take place at 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The programme will also include individual consultations. From 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., visitors will have the opportunity to ask experts questions, discuss specific investment requirements and explore suitable solutions.

Digitalisation of the joinery industry

Another important element of the zone will be a series of sessions dedicated to digitalisation. Maciej Matella and Karol Poniży will present the capabilities of WH Okna software, including cloud-based solutions, artificial intelligence, windowID and the WH Magazyn system. The presentations, entitled “WH Okna – 30 Years of IT Support for the Joinery Industry”, are scheduled for 25 September at 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Solutions for contemporary architecture

On Saturday, 26 September, the Knowledge and Inspiration Zone powered by Winkhaus will focus on solutions relevant to architects and designers.

At 10:00 a.m., Andrzej Andrzejewski will demonstrate how the blueEvo system can become an integral part of a modern building, providing electronic access control without the need for cabling.

At 11:00 a.m., Tomasz Marszał will present activPilot Comfort, a solution incorporating controlled ventilation through a tilt opening, creating new opportunities for natural and safe ventilation of indoor spaces.

The Knowledge and Inspiration Zone powered by Winkhaus will bring together expert knowledge, manufacturers’ experience and practical technology demonstrations. It is aimed at joinery manufacturers, component suppliers, architects, designers, building managers and everyone interested in the security of modern buildings.

The International Trade Fair for Windows, Doors and Glass, WinDoGlass Innovation, will take place on 25 and 26 September at Targi Kielce, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Entry is via the western terminal, from Markowskiego Street.
