Wiadomości Handlowe, a leading Polish industry magazine and information portal dedicated to the retail and FMCG sectors, is involved in preparing the debates and lectures. The editor-in-chief of the publishing house, Łukasz Stępniak, and editor Michał Kokoszkiewicz will moderate two debates. Discussions and lectures feature valued experts who share their knowledge on how to effectively develop private labels, making them innovative, profitable, and attractive to customers.

Future Private Labels is now.

The conference at Targi Kielce on 22 October 2025 will open with a lecture entitled "Future Private Labels is now!", indicating that the time for dynamic development and investment in private labels is now. This is a significant signal for the entire FMCG industry, suggesting that private labels are no longer just an alternative to branded products but have become a key component of retailers' and manufacturers' strategies.

The conference offers its participants the opportunity to learn about the strategies of Polish trade leaders, including Biedronka, Lidl, and Dino, in the development of private labels. Analysis of these activities will enable a better understanding of the mechanisms behind shaping the offer and adapting it to changing consumer expectations in an era of inflation and growing shopping awareness.

Private labels are the fuel of the future of retail.

“Private labels are the fuel of the future of retail“ is a vital point on the agenda.  Experts from retail chains, analysts and manufacturer representatives will discuss the impact of global economic tensions and tariff wars on the private label market, as well as the strategies of Polish and foreign retailers and wholesalers in this area.  Topics regarding the changing consumer needs that drive the development of new product categories, as well as the innovation potential offered by private labels in the FMCG sector, will also be discussed. The cooperation between suppliers and retailers in building strong and recognisable private labels is an essential aspect of the discussion.

 1:1 with a market expert

The conference will also offer participants a series of inspiring 1:1 conversations with market practitioners  as a great opportunity to learn how private labels drive innovation, how to build a profitable business based on their production, and how the Polish trade effectively creates a private label offer that responds to real consumer needs.

The potential of a private label to build customer loyalty and engagement

Another important moment of the event - the second debate, devoted to the role of private labels in building customer loyalty. Experts will present how private labels are becoming a tool for building a competitive advantage and how consumers perceive them today in comparison to branded products.  The discussion will also cover quality, price and shopping convenience, as well as the importance of marketing and packaging in the development of private labels.

What builds private labels in the drugstore and cosmetics categories?

On the second day, Future Private Labels Summit participants will focus on private label strategies in cosmetics, food and industrial chains, analysing their impact on the market and consumer expectations. As part of the debate "What builds private labels in the beauty and household chemicals categories?"  the strategies of drugstore, grocery and pharmacy chains, key trends in beauty, hygiene and household chemicals, changing consumer purchasing missions and ways of introducing innovative solutions in private label offerings will be discussed. An important aspect of this part will also be the practical dimension of cooperation between retailers and suppliers in creating new private label products that meet market needs.

On the second day, 1:1 conversations with experts are also planned, during which participants will learn how innovation and quality contribute to building beauty offerings in private labels, how to effectively shape private label offerings in line with customer needs, and what the current expectations of retail chains are for private label suppliers.
