Private Label Exhibition - FUTURE PRIVATE LABELS in Targi Kielce. Day two.

24 October 2025
The second day of the 7th edition of the Future Private Labels trade fair was marked by discussions on innovation, quality, and the direction of development of the private brands market. The Speech Arena hosted three presentations on challenges and trends in the private label segment, led by analysts and representatives of leading cosmetics companies

The first speaker was Aleksandra Wysocka, Director of Private Label and Laboratories in Poplawska Groupwhich in the presentation "From private label to private brands – beauty products based on innovation and quality" She discussed the process of preparing a product before its launch and the changing expectations of generations Y and Z. She highlighted the growing importance of ingredient transparency, avoiding SLS and parabens, the use of recycled packaging, bio-based materials, and refill systems.  She emphasised that modern private labels can compete not only on price but also on quality, as evidenced by certificates such as Vegan, EcoCert, or NOI.

Agnieszka Górnicka, President of Inquiry LLC, in the speech "How to build a private label offering tailored to customer needs", presented data indicating that private labels already constitute approximately 27% of the FMCG market and 20% of the cosmetics market. As she noted, private labels are increasingly gaining their own research, marketing campaigns and communication, entering the premium segment.  She also pointed out sources of inspiration and trend monitoring—from foreign e-commerce platforms to social media to industry conferences such as Future Private Labels.

The third conversation, in a more relaxed 1:1 format, took place between Marta Jabłońska-Kubow, Product Marketing Manager at Ecowipes, and Marzena Szulc, editor-in-chief of the portal wiadomoscikosmetyczne.pl.  The discussion focused on the growing role of innovation and sustainable development in building private-labels’ competitive advantage. The speaker drew attention to the need to differentiate products by target group and to local regulations on composition and packaging, emphasising that Polish consumers are among the most demanding in Europe today.

Meetings in the Speech Arena zone were an essential part of the fair program. Future Private Labels, creating a space for the exchange of experiences and inspiration between private label market leaders, producers and retail chains.
