The pet food industry is in the spotlight – the Pet Food Congress 2025, within the scope of the Private Label Expo in Kielce

23 October 2025
The Pet Food Congress 2025 continues at Targi Kielce - the event accompanies the Private Label Show, which brings together market leaders in pet food and products. These are two days of intensive exchange of knowledge, inspiration and discussions about the future of the industry, the value of which in Poland has already exceeded PLN 6.5 billion

Experts and practitioners from across the sector discuss the latest trends – from the increasing humanisation of animals and the development of functional feeds, to the automation of production processes and new regulations on packaging and sustainability.

Topics also include ESG, energy efficiency, postbiotics in animal nutrition, and packaging trends aligned with new EU guidelines.

- We have been organising a congress for the meat industry for years, we have been present in this industry for 25 years, and we have been observing the changes taking place in it. We see that the meat industry is looking for new development opportunities.  “Pet food” is such a natural direction of development, because the mechanisation of meat processing plants makes it possible to produce products for animals as well. Given these market changes, global developments, and Poland's status as a key pet food producer, we decided to organise such an event. Taking advantage of our excellent relations with Targi Kielce, we decided to hold the congress here. We are extremely pleased and convinced that it will be a great success not only for us, but also for the participants, which is the most important thing for us – said Marek Bielski, Gemini Group, organiser and moderator of the event, during a break on the first day of the Pet Food Congress.

The Pet Food 2025 Congress is more than just lectures – it is also about Speed Meating, i.e., quick networking meetings that allow producers, distributors, and retail chains to establish real business relationships.  The first day ended with the presentation of the Pet Choice Award prizes.
