First meeting of the MSPO Programme Board in the new year

The Program Board of the International Defence Industry Exhibition, devoted to preparations for the XXXIII edition of the event, met at Targi Kielce. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of National Defence Paweł Bejda

t the meeting, Deputy Minister Bejda emphasised the importance of MSPO as one of the key defence industry events in Europe, providing a platform for the presentation of modern military technologies and the exchange of experiences between representatives of the defence industry from around the world. He also pointed to the need to further strengthen international cooperation and promote the Polish defence industry on the global stage.

The show is held with the Honorary Auspices of the President of the Republic of Poland, but final confirmation is expected after the presidential elections. The composition of the Honorary Committee and the MSPO 2025 Program Board is also being updated. Arrangements are also underway regarding the Lead Nation Exhibition.

An inherent element of MSPO is also the Armed Forces Exhibition, which will be held under the banner "Modern Armed Forces Creating a Strong Future". The exhibition will be staged in Expo Hall 9 and the adjacent area.

Strategic partner and exhibitors

The Polish Armaments Group has been the Strategic Partner of MSPO.  with its exhibition in Expo Hall 3, part of Expo Hall 4 and the outdoor exhibition grounds.  160 companies have already confirmed their participation in the Expo, will occupy nearly 10,000 m² of exhibition space.

Accompanying events will include conferences and seminars offered by the Ministry of Development and Technology on cooperation with the US army and the UN. The Ministry of National Defence is conducting the process of inviting official foreign delegations;  the MSPO 2025 guest of honour list includes  NATO Secretary General and Director General for  European Union Defence and Space Policy.

During the conference on the third day of the 33rd MSPO, the most sought-after product —a large, pink rocket, considered a modern-day Ukrainian "Wunderwaffe" — was presented. The Flamingo, as the FP-5 long-range missile was nicknamed, is difficult to detect by radar with a range of up to 3,000 km and a payload of 1,150 kg. With such mass, it hits targets with a precision of 14 meters

On the 3rd day of the International Defence Industry Exhibition in Targi Kielce, the Armaments Agency finalised four contracts strengthening the capabilities of the Polish Armed Forces. The contracts include the supply of MPPZM anti-ship mines, MU-90 PTD training torpedoes, specialised operational containers for F-35 aircraft and several hundred GBU-39B Small Diameter Bombs

At the "AI and Defence" conference, which the IDEAS Research Institute organised on the third day of MSPO 2025, scientists presented directions of research on the use of artificial intelligence in the military. The discussions focused on algorithms supporting commanders in making decisions on the battlefield, data protection and privacy, as well as the growing role of AI in cybersecurity
