02 September 2025
During the International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce, an agreement was signed between the Armament Agency and the Łucznik Arms Factory – Radom for the supply of 23,000 MSBS Grot rifles

The event was graced with the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Deputy Minister of Defence Paweł Bejda, and Head of the Armaments Agency Brig. Gen.  Artur Kuptel at the head and the management board of the Arms Factory.

The Minister of Defence stressed the importance of the contract for Poland's security and the development of the domestic arms industry.  – Grot carbines serve the Polish Army very well.  Our goal is to equip soldiers with the best possible equipment, and this agreement is just the beginning.  Approximately 30,000 units of the most advanced version of Grot will be delivered this year, and subsequent batches will be delivered successively to the Polish Army, said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

The President of the Arms Factory, Seweryn Figurski, noted that the order is part of the 100th anniversary of the Radom plant, confirming its strategic role in the modernisation of the Polish Army.

The contract is further proof that the Polish army relies on domestic technological solutions, and the Łucznik Factory in Radom will play an increasingly important role in the national security system.
