Buses on show - for the 15th time at Targi Kielce
The International Fair of Public Transport TRANSEXPO has been known as the stage for global-scale premières, as the trend-setter which indicates transport development directions as well as the meeting place for Polish and foreign markets’ major players. We wold venture to say that TRANSEXPO is Poland's as well as Central and Eastern Europe's largest industry event of this kind - the expo’s jubilee unveiling is held from 21 to 23 October 2020.
Although the expo commences in more than over 7 months from now, the exhibitors list already includes market leaders from home and abroad, the companies which put on show the latest developments and innovations. The expo brings together the market front-runners, such as Solaris Bus & Coach, Autosan, EvoBus Polska, ABP Bus & Coach, Volvo Polska, Iveco Poland, Irizar, Man Truck&Bus. And, TRANSEXPO 2020 is much broader - the exhibitors list also features parts and equipment companies, public transport vehicles, equipment and technical facilities as well as ICT systems suppliers. This group of exhibitors includes: Voith, R.&G Plus, Kiel, Ster, Groeneveld, Camira, Herbert Kneitz, Drabpol, Polgard, DPK System, GMV, Peter Renz, Medcom, Pixel, Stako, Webasto. The Chamber of Urban Transport is the expo’s strategic allay; following the many-year tradition the Chamber is the knowledge partner which organises its industry-focused conference. The bus of the future is this year's leitmotif.
The previous unveiling of the expo held in the every-other-year cycle demonstrated and reassured TRANSEXPO position among all public transport event in Poland. TRANSEXPO has also marked an important place on Europe’s bus business map. 2018’s expo abounded with premières, important contracts conclusions, nearly 6,500 business-insiders and a number of significant business talk-shop sessions. The Solaris Bus&Coach resolved to make Targi Kielce the presentation arena for its super-light and economical Urbino 12 LE lite hybrid. TRANSEXPO thus saw as the global première of the bus. TRANSEXPO 2018 witnessed Wielkopolska-based SOLARIS president Solange Olszewska handing over the baton after the company was sold to Spanish shareholders. The EvoBus also staged a Polish première - this proved to be a real market-hit on show, much to the visitors’ delight. Mercedes Future Bus, shown for the first time in Poland is a very concrete idea for the city bus bus of the future. All those events further emphasize the exhibition’s importance and significance. Targi Kielce’s TRANSEXPO is held for the fifteenth time in 2020.
