When they found out that I come from the Kielce diocese in Poland, the first association was Kielce Sacroexpo – recalled His Excellency Archbishop Henryk Jagodziński, Apostolic Nuncio to Ghana, when speaking at the gala expo opening.

Exhibition and auction of religious art - for the first time held within the expo scope
The Art Zone, held for the first time together in conjunction with the Art In House - Auction House in Warsaw, enjoyed great interest among visitors to the Sacroexpo exhibition in Kielce. The three days' event at Targi Kielce was the chance to present over 240 paintings, sculptures and icons by over a hundred artists from Poland and Ukraine. This has been the country's first large exhibition featuring works exclusively devoted to religions and spiritual themes. The auction of selected works also followed and delivered an outstanding result, totalling over PLN 160,000.
– The auction has proven very popular. We are very pleased, especially since it focuses upon a specific genre, and themed auctions usually attract niches of collectors. Earlier, we organised Sacrum Profanum auctions, which combined everyday life with the spiritual sphere. Now, the Sacrum Auction allowed us to focus on the religious themes exclusively and we achieved great success – emphasised Aleksandra Koper from the Art Auction House. In House.
The Sacroexpo accompanying events: a lottery for consecrated persons, a lecture on the beatification of the Ulma family, an open meeting for administrators of religious and religious buildings, and an iconographic seminar.
