Sacroexpo in... Bratislava. Targi Kielce signed the contract
The International Exhibition of Church Construction, Church Fittings and Furnishings and Religious SACROEXPO has been organised for twenty for years in Targi Kielce; the event has been renowned all over Europe. The event's success and its importance for the church industry triggered the idea to organise the in the Slovak exhibition centre; on Friday, 31 March after several weeks of talks, Targi Kielce signed the agreement with Incheba Expo. The company in Bratislava is appointed the event organiser, and the Kielce exhibition and congress centre - a co-organiser.
The international SacroExpo ranges outside Slovakia, and welcomes the Czech Republic, Hungary and Austria.
- We are aware of the church importance and the large number of believers living in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary. Thus we and the management of Incheba Expo in Bratislava have resolved to hold a joint SacroExpo Slovakia, aimed at these regions of Central Europe - explains the president of Targi Kielce, Andrzej Mochoń PhD.
The SacroExpo Kielce attracts about 300 exhibitors from 7 countries offering services, technical equipment and other products for sacral construction, ceremonies. Religious tourism is also represented.
- I am glad that we have signed the agreement with our Polish colleagues and thus organise such an interesting event - SacroExpo. There are over a dozen thousand churches, chapels and prayer rooms only in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. There are dozens of denominations, with the Roman Catholic Church being the largest. SacroExpo is a unique business platform which serves the needs of the Church and believers - said Alexander Rozin, president of the Incheba Expo centre, when discussing the new project.
Everything for the Church and the faithful - Sacroexpo in Slovakia
The exhibitors, following the example of the Kielce event, will present everything that the Church and parishes need; professional suppliers of services and equipment for the construction and maintenance of religious buildings, dedicated technologies such as sound systems, heating and churches safety and security, organs and other musical instruments. Following the expo tradition, it will present works of art and handicrafts used to furnish and decorate interiors, church attires, and spiritual art, e.g. statues and figurines, stained glass windows, paintings, icons and liturgical vessels. There will also be an offer of pilgrimage destinations, professional conferences and debates. Specialists from Incheba Expo are already prospering for exhibitors.
The exhibition is intended for specialist companies, artists and craftsmen to establish new contacts in the church milieus. The show brings together specialist shops with religious articles. Online trade is also represented here. SacroExpo is intended as a professional platform connecting companies and their offer of products and services with churches in the design phase and those which need equipping. The Church's cultural heritage is also a part of the expo scope. The event is held on 17 and 18 September at the Incheba Expo Bratislava.
