Congregation of the Vestiarki Sisters of Jesus join the Sacroexpo Exhibition

Unique liturgical vestments made by Vestiarki Sisters of Jesus are very popular when showcased the Sacroexpo in Targi Kielce. The latest models of chasubles, priestly stoles sewn by hand and with the help of a computer are available for viewing and purchase from 19 to 21 June

The Congregation of the Vestiarki Sisters of Jesus has been associated with the Sacroexpo Exhibition since 2009, it presents the highest quality liturgical paraments in the Kielce exhibition and congress centre.

– Our hand-made, painted, shaded and classic-embroidery adorned products;  we embroider with gold threads, and satin threads, which gives the garments a unique beauty. Recently, we also do computer embroidery, we have various patterns and we keep looking for new ones – says Sister Lydia.

Many valuable works were created in the embroidery workshops run by Vestiarki sisters. Particularly noteworthy are four adornments for the miraculous image of Our Lady of Częstochowa, a dress for the image of Our Lady for Czerna and Studzianna, and a dress for Our Lady of Kalwaria Zebrzydowska and for Our Lady of Leżajsk. The Vestiarki Sisters created a millennium chasuble as a gift for Bl. Primate of the Millennium, for St. Paul VI, jubilee chasuble for St.  John Paul II, donated by the Pauline Fathers on the occasion of the 600th anniversary of the presence of Our Lady at Jasna Góra, as well as vestments for the Polish Seminary in Orchard Lake.  The Vestiarki made numerous works for the pilgrimages of St.  John Paul II to Poland and a set of liturgical vestments for Jasna Góra on the occasion of Pope Francis' apostolic trip to Poland in 2016.  The Congregation of the Vestiarki Sisters of Jesus also takes care of the decor of religious buildings during the Eucharist, nurturing the tradition of dressing altars for Corpus Christi, preparing decorations for liturgical celebrations in parishes or embroidering chalice linen.

- Our task as the Vestiarki Sisters of Jesus is to care for the beauty of the Church. It is our charism to take care of the decoration of the Churches, the chalice and the priest.  We have been sewing and repairing liturgical vestments since the founding of the Congregation, i.e. 140 years ago. Our predecessors left us legacy of beautiful designs and work rules, we have maintained for generations, but we are also open to new things – adds S. Lydia

Unique works of the Congregation of the Vestiarki Sisters of Jesus will be presented during this year's 24th Sacroexpo.

Religious icons, paintings and sculptures auctioned at the Sacroexpo! The total value exceeded 160,000 PLN
On the second day of Sacroexpo, 20 June, some of the presented works were available for auction at a live art auction room managed by the Art. Auction House. In House. The most popular auctioned works were: Saint George Fighting the Dragon" by Borys Fiodorowicz, "The Meeting of Heaven and Earth" by Katarzyna Słowiańska-Kucz and "The Last Supper" by Robert Jadczak. All works can be seen until Wednesday, 21 June in the Art Zone

Energy and insurance issues discussed at a meeting with specialists held within the scope pf the Sacroexpo! The event is open to all visitors of the expo’s second day
Representatives of Innpact - a company specializing in energy consulting and TUW Polish Mutual Insurance Company delivered lectures during the Sacroexpo; the session was targeted at administrators of religious buildings. The meeting was a part of the Meeting of Male and Female Consulta to the Conference of Polish Church Economy Officers and Monastery Superiors in Poland and events organized by the Forum of Inter-Religious Cooperation

SACROEXPO Slovakia - the formal presentation!
Guests from Incheba-Expo Bratislava showed the potential of the religion-related market of Slovak, Czech, Austrian and Hungarian. The presentation of the September SACROEXPO Slovakia was the occasion. The event is held on 13-14 September in Bratislava and is organised by the Slovak exhibition centre and Targi Kielce.

The details of the martyrdom of the Ulma family and the beatification process stages discussed at the 24th SACROEXPO The latest film dedicated to the family from Markowa - public screening
The first day of the 24th Sacroexpo hosted a featured guest - Fr. Witold Burda PhD., postulator in the beatification process of the Ulma family. The whole family were shot dead by the Germans for helping and hiding Jews. After the lecture, the expo visitor could also see the latest film by Mariusz Pilis - "The Story of One Crime", the movie recently screened in cinemas

The Sacroexpo - welcome. The 24th in the series of Targi Kielce's exhibitions! This expo has brought together 200 exhibitors from 10 countries; The event is open to the public, no admission fee
The 24th Sacroexpo commenced on 19 June. Not only does it feature devotional items for the faithful and equipment for churches. For the first time, the Targi Kielce expo halls will be filled with the latest works of contemporary religious art. The three days expo includes the screening of the historical film that has just hit the cinemas. A caravanning rally will is staged in the outdoor exhibition grounds of the Kielce exhibition and congress centre. The event is open to the public
