NONFERRA 2026 - recapitulation Non-Ferrous Metals, New Technologies and International Business at Expo Kielce

Aluminium, zinc, copper and other non-ferrous metals, processing technologies, machinery, raw materials and components – NONFERRA 2026 highlighted the importance of this sector to modern industry. From 22 to 24 September, as part of Industrial Autumn, the trade show brought together 240 exhibitors and co-exhibitors
and represented companies from 21 countries.

Non-Ferrous Metals – A Key Link in the Industrial Chain

NONFERRA continues the non-ferrous metals theme developed in Kielce over many years, previously presented under the Nonfermet brand. This year’s show once again created a meeting place for manufacturers, technology suppliers and companies working with aluminium, zinc, copper and their alloys.

The offer presented at Expo Kielce covered everything from raw materials and materials to the technologies and equipment used at successive stages of production. The focus was on solutions designed to improve process quality and consistency, automate production, and use materials and energy more efficiently.

Aluminium, Copper and Zinc in Modern Manufacturing

The importance of non-ferrous metals is growing alongside sectors where low weight, durability, corrosion resistance, conductivity and the ability to reuse materials are increasingly important. The solutions presented at NONFERRA addressed the needs of companies operating in areas including mechanical engineering, automotive, energy and component manufacturing.

The trade show also demonstrated how modern manufacturing is increasingly bringing together materials technology with automation, digital parameter monitoring and precision measurement. It is no longer just the quality of the finished component that matters, but also the ability to monitor the entire process by which it is produced.

One Exhibition, the Entire Production Process

A major strength of NONFERRA was its integration with the METAL and HEAT TREATMENT trade shows. These brought together, in one place, companies responsible for different stages of production – from materials and alloy preparation, through melting and casting, to heat treatment and process parameter control.

As highlighted during the opening of Industrial Autumn by Dr hab. Eng. Rafał Dańko, President of the World Foundry Organization and the Technical Association of Polish Foundrymen, said that modern industry relies on “advanced materials, precision technologies, automation, robotics, digital design, artificial intelligence, and precise quality control”. These trends were equally visible in the solutions presented across the non-ferrous metals sector.
