Day Two Was All About Business

Following the event's opening and an intensive first day, Wednesday brought further meetings between exhibitors and industry professionals. The halls were filled with machinery, equipment and technologies for foundries, heat treatment, non-ferrous metal processing, metrology, non-destructive testing and industrial filtration and ventilation.

The focus was on concrete discussions – covering plant modernisation, increased production efficiency, automation, energy and raw material savings, and improved process quality. The event’s international character also provided opportunities to establish new contacts and explore potential cooperation in overseas markets.

METAL, HEAT TREATMENT and NONFERRA – Technology in Practice

The METAL, HEAT TREATMENT and NONFERRA exhibitions showcase solutions covering successive stages of industrial processes – from material preparation, melting and casting, through heat treatment, to automation and production control.

This year’s edition also demonstrates just how rapidly modern foundry technology is changing. Robotics, digital process control, energy efficiency and technologies designed to reduce material consumption and waste are playing an increasingly important role.

The Precision of One Degree

One of the key topics on the second day was precision temperature measurement in heat treatment processes. Experts from Guenther Polska discussed, among other topics, the production and calibration of high-temperature thermocouples and the importance of measurement accuracy for the quality of the entire process.

The company is working with Wrocław University of Science and Technology on a project focused on the serial production of high-accuracy Type S, R and B thermocouples. The work combines materials research, simulations, machine learning and the concept of a laboratory digital twin. The aim is to improve process repeatability, shorten calibration times and develop even more accurate measurement solutions.

CONTROL-TECH – Measurement and Testing Under the Microscope

The second day was also packed with activity at CONTROL-TECH – the Trade Show of Industrial Measuring Technology and Non-Destructive Testing. Alongside presentations of measuring and analytical equipment, visitors had the opportunity to meet with experts.

Jan Podgórski presented the latest Shimadzu solutions for non-destructive testing, while during PCB workshops participants explored the differences between XRF, LIBS and OES technologies and their applications in analysing the chemical composition of metals. CONTROL-TECH once again demonstrated that accurate measurement and reliable data are becoming the foundation of modern production.

Transformacja 360° Forum – From Discussion to Implementation

23 September was also the second and final day of the Transformacja 360° Forum. Following the first day’s broader focus on digital transformation and artificial intelligence, the programme shifted towards the practical aspects of change taking place in businesses.

Topics included the legal aspects of using AI, innovation funding, digital skills, cooperation between academia and business, and opportunities to test new technologies before making investment decisions. Representatives of the Kielce Technology Park also presented the TK DIH project and the support available to businesses undergoing digital transformation.

FILVENT – Technologies for a Cleaner and Safer Industry

The inaugural edition of FILVENT – Trade Show of Industrial Filtration, Ventilation and Air Conditioning is also under way. Exhibitors are presenting dust extraction, industrial ventilation and air-conditioning systems, as well as solutions designed to improve air quality, process safety and energy efficiency.

An important programme highlight still lies ahead at FILVENT. On 24 September at 10.00 a.m., the “Industrial Filtration and Ventilation” seminar will take place, with experts discussing topics including air quality in educational institutions, ventilation systems and heat exchange.

Industrial Autumn Gala – Honouring the Best

The second day concluded with the Industrial Autumn Gala, where awards and distinctions were presented. Companies and solutions showcased at this year’s trade shows were recognised, while the event also provided an opportunity to highlight the people behind the development of modern industry.

The Industrial Autumn Finale Lies Ahead

The first two days of the event have demonstrated how closely different areas of industry are now interconnected. Foundries need automation and precise measurement, heat treatment increasingly relies on accurate data, while modern production facilities also require solutions that improve energy efficiency and working conditions.

The final day of Industrial Autumn 2026 lies ahead. On Thursday, 24 September, METAL, HEAT TREATMENT, NONFERRA, CONTROL-TECH and FILVENT invite visitors to Expo Kielce from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
