This year’s Industrial Autumn once again confirmed its international character. Around 200 exhibitors, co-exhibitors and represented companies from 21 countries took part in METAL, HEAT TREATMENT and NONFERRA alone, including China, India, Japan, the United States, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Türkiye and Ukraine. In total, all Industrial Autumn events brought together more than 240 participating entities. The event was accompanied by the two-day Transformationcja 360° Forum, dedicated to digitalisation, automation and artificial intelligence in business.

METAL – The Heart of the Industrial Autumn

The centrepiece of the event was the 26th International Trade Show of Foundry Technologies METAL. For three days, the halls at Expo Kielce were filled with solutions for modern foundries – from materials and charge preparation, through furnaces and melting, moulding and casting technologies, to automation, robotics, process control and solutions designed to reduce energy and raw material consumption.

This year’s exhibition demonstrated just how rapidly modern foundry technology is evolving. Alongside established technologies, 3D scanning, automated production control, digital process models and machine-learning solutions played an increasingly important role. Energy efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of production were also key topics. These trends reflect the priorities of the Industrial Autumn as a whole, with a strong focus on automation, digitalisation and the sustainable development of industry.

17 Indian Companies and METAL’s International Dimension

One of the most visible international highlights was the joint exhibition featuring 17 companies from India. Its official opening was attended by representatives of India and Expo Kielce. Discussions focused on opportunities for developing industrial cooperation, exchanging technologies and building connections between Polish and Indian businesses.

India’s presence was one of many examples of the trade show’s global reach. Kielce brought together manufacturers, technology suppliers, engineers, researchers and entrepreneurs from Europe, Asia and North America.

HEAT TREATMENT – Increasing Precision in Heat Treatment

An important part of the Industrial Autumn was also HEAT TREATMENT, showcasing solutions for the heat and thermochemical treatment of metals. Industrial furnaces, temperature control systems, measuring equipment and solutions designed to improve process accuracy demonstrated that data, automation and precision are becoming increasingly important in this area of industry too.

High-temperature thermocouples and temperature measurement in precision heat treatment were among the topics covered by the programme. Experts demonstrated how even a one-degree difference can affect process quality, while developments in metrology are now increasingly linked with materials research, simulations, machine learning and digital twin technology. The second day of the programme featured two presentations dedicated specifically to temperature measurement accuracy and loss reduction.

NONFERRA – Non-Ferrous Metals as a Key Part of the Industrial Supply Chain

NONFERRA – Trade Show of Non-Ferrous Metals and Processing Technologies complemented the METAL and HEAT TREATMENT offer with solutions involving aluminium, zinc, copper and other non-ferrous metals.

Bringing the three events together made it possible to look at the production process from a comprehensive perspective – from raw materials and material preparation, through manufacturing and processing technologies, to quality control of the finished product. This complementarity remains one of the key distinguishing features of the Industrial Autumn.

CONTROL-TECH – Accurate Measurement as the Foundation of Modern Production

The 36th International Trade Show of Industrial Measuring Technology and Non-Destructive Testing CONTROL-TECH provided a platform for analytical equipment, metrology systems, materials testing equipment and NDT technologies.

The event programme placed a strong emphasis on the practical side of measurement. Experts from the Central Office of Measures presented the development of digital services for businesses, while representatives of the Office of Technical Inspection discussed metrological traceability, calibration and the supervision of measuring equipment.

The exhibition also featured systems for monitoring material parameters directly on the production line, non-destructive testing technologies and solutions for analysing the chemical composition of metals. CONTROL-TECH demonstrated that modern measurement is increasingly becoming an integral part of automated production control rather than simply a final quality check.

FILVENT – A Successful Debut for a New Event

This year’s Industrial Autumn was also special thanks to the first edition of FILVENT – Trade Show of Industrial Filtration, Ventilation and Air Conditioning. The new event expanded the scope of the Industrial Autumn to include technologies related to dust extraction, ventilation, industrial air conditioning, air quality, energy efficiency and process safety.

On the final day, a seminar dedicated to industrial filtration and ventilation was held. Experts discussed, among other topics, air quality in educational institutions, heat exchange and the selection of heat exchangers, the safety of expanding photovoltaic installations, and modern methods for testing the properties of insulation materials.

The FILVENT debut demonstrated that air quality, employee safety and energy efficiency are now inseparably linked to the modernisation of industrial facilities.

Transformationcja 360° Forum – AI, Digitalisation and the Future of Business

The technologies presented on the exhibition stands were accompanied by discussions about how they can be effectively implemented in businesses. This was the focus of the two-day Transformationcja 360° Forum – “Digital Transformationtion of Businesses – Innovation, Efficiency, Growth”.

The first day featured discussions with representatives of public administration, support institutions, academia and business. One of the highlights was a presentation by Professor Aleksandra Przegalińska, who discussed the impact of artificial intelligence on the labour market, skills and the way organisations operate. The second day placed greater emphasis on practical implementation, covering AI regulations, business experience, digital skills, Transformationtion funding and cooperation between business and academia.

A New Chapter in Cooperation with the Czech Republic

The event’s international character was further underscored by the signing on 23 September of a memorandum of cooperation between Expo Kielce and ABF/PVA EXPO PRAGUE. The agreement opens up further opportunities for cooperation between the exhibition centres and for developing business ties between Poland and the Czech Republic.

Industrial Autumn Gala – Honouring the Best

The second day concluded with the Industrial Autumn 2026 Gala. Medals and distinctions were presented for the best products showcased at METAL, HEAT TREATMENT, NONFERRA, FILVENT and CONTROL-TECH. Companies and institutions celebrating significant anniversaries were also honoured.

The gala was also an opportunity to highlight the people behind the technologies. Because although artificial intelligence, autonomous machines and automation are increasingly prominent topics in the exhibition halls, the projects, implementations and investment decisions are still driven by engineers, technologists, researchers and entrepreneurs.

Three Days Bringing Technology and People Together

Industrial Autumn 2026 above all demonstrated how closely the various branches of industry are now interconnected. The foundry industry is embracing automation and 3D scanning, heat treatment requires increasingly precise measurement, metrology is moving directly onto production lines, while efficient manufacturing also depends on air quality, reduced energy consumption and responsible resource management.

At the same time, meetings – around machines, at exhibition stands, during conferences, workshops and the evening gala – remained at the heart of the three-day event. This is where a technology presentation became a conversation about implementation, a business contact became a potential cooperation project, and an idea became a potential investment.

METAL, HEAT TREATMENT, NONFERRA, CONTROL-TECH and the debuting FILVENT created a shared space for technology, knowledge and business at Expo Kielce. Industrial Autumn 2026 may have come to an end, but the results of the conversations held, contacts established and partnerships forged will continue to make themselves felt long after the exhibition halls have closed.
