The presence of 17 Indian companies at this year’s METAL highlights growing interest in cooperation with Polish and European industry. Official Opening of the Indian Exhibition

One of the highlights of this year’s trade show was the official opening of the joint Indian exhibition, bringing together 17 companies. Such a strong Indian presence underlines METAL’s international character and the growing importance of direct business contacts between Polish and Indian companies.

The Indian exhibitors are showcasing solutions spanning a wide range of industrial applications – from raw materials and materials for the foundry sector, through refractory materials, specialist castings and industrial equipment, to technologies used for analysing metal composition. Exhibitors include ASHAPURA International, RAJ CERAMICS, PLASMA ALLOY, VAS Spectrometers and GAUSS MAGNETICS, among others.

India’s Industrial Sector Is Undergoing Transformation

The prospects for closer cooperation were also discussed during the official opening of the Industrial Autumn and the Transformacja 360° Forum. Mohan Lal of the Embassy of the Republic of India in Poland highlighted the significant transformation currently under way across India’s industrial sector. This includes the automation and digitalisation of processes, the use of lightweight materials and the development of high-value-added components.

Energy-efficient technologies, advanced foundry equipment and solutions supporting sustainable development are also becoming increasingly important. Heat treatment of metals remains another key element of India’s industrial value chain.

These are precisely the areas where the needs of Indian industry meet the solutions showcased at METAL, HEAT TREATMENT and NONFERRA.

Polish Technology Meets the Scale of Indian Industry

Indian representatives also highlighted the potential created by bringing together the industrial capabilities of the two countries.

“Combining the scale of India’s manufacturing industry and its engineering expertise with Poland’s technological capabilities creates significant potential for further development of Indian-Polish cooperation,” Mohan Lal stressed.

As he pointed out, METAL can provide Indian companies with an opportunity to gain new experience, establish business contacts and build long-term partnerships.

METAL is part of the Industrial Autumn 2026, taking place at Expo Kielce from 22 to 24 September and bringing together METAL, HEAT TREATMENT, NONFERRA, CONTROL-TECH and the new FILVENT trade show. The programme also features the Transformacja 360° Forum, focusing on the practical aspects of business digitalisation, automation, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
