The supreme and outstanding Włodek Pawlik's Trio. Grammy winner performs at Targi Kielce Jazz Festival Memorial to Miles

- It's always nice to play in one’s hometown - said the Grammy winner before Sunday's concert at the Kielce Culture Centre. The show he bassist Damian Kostka and drummer Cezary Konrad gave storm-took hearts of the large audience. "Master class," viewers commented.

On the last day of the 21st event co-organised by the Kielce exhibition and congress centre, an excellent swing reigned supreme. Exceptional ease and naturalness with which he uses various techniques in composing music touched hearts.
Songs from the "America" and "Pawlik/Moniuszko  Polish Jazz" albums were played. The encore offered the main theme from "Night in Calisia", for which Włodek Pawlik received a Grammy Award.


Let us remind you that the Kielce native is the first winner of this award of the American music industry for Polish jazz. Włodek Pawlik's achievements includes dozens of original albums, a number of works of film and theatre music, orchestral compositions, ballet music, opera, cantata, two piano concertos, and vocal works.
