Over 1 GW of solar farms installed!

2019 was a breakthrough year for the renewable energy business sector. Let us start with  photovoltaics - it should be noted that September saw a breakthrough. The solar farm installed capacity in Poland exceeded 1 GW. In September 2.2 MW  was installed every day. This is a  record  on its own.  However there is much more to that.  In October, almost 3 MW was installed every single day.  The facts and figures show that Poland’s solar farms and business sector go from strength to strength.   

The first half of 2019 witnessed a dynamic increase in heat pumps sales. The  PC PORT market research in all air-to-water heat pumps used for central heating purposes indicated the market’s two-fold growth compared to the first half of 2019 and 2018 sales.  Estimates for 2019’s three quarters show substantial increase in air / water and ground source heat pumps sales.  Paweł Lachman, the PORT PC President emphasizes that the increases are disproportionate. Air / water heat pumps deliver even 90-100% increase in year-on-year basis, ground heat pumps the increase is 15%.

Going smart - heat pumps, solar farms and electric cars!

Solar installation and heat pumps - this is not the end of the story.  Electromobility complements the picture.  The latest electromobility meter’s update indicates that October 2019 saw 7884 electric cars which hit Poland’s roads. According to PSPA January to October 2019 data,  3250 new vehicles werer registered i.e. 100% more than at  the same period last year.
