A lawyer and accountant – a duo of the future or a business necessity? About cooperation that changes the service provided to entrepreneurs

02 July 2026
The modern accounting office increasingly goes beyond traditional settlements and bookkeeping. Entrepreneurs today expect comprehensive support – not only in the areas of taxes and finance, but also law, business security and strategic decision-making.

The cooperation between accountants and lawyers and why it is becoming one of the most important directions of development of modern accounting offices will be discussed during the panel "Lawyer and accountant - a duet of the future or a business necessity?", which will be held during the 7th Congress of Accounting Offices.

The following will take part in the discussion:

  •  Mateusz Brzeziński – attorney of law
  •  Karol Wątrobiński – attorney of law
  •  Ewelina Włodarczyk – owner of an accounting office.

Experts will examine the collaboration between the two professions from the perspective of everyday practice. They will show in what situations the support of a lawyer can help avoid costly mistakes, reduce risk, and provide clients with comprehensive service.

The panel will discuss issues related to the liability of accountants, the limits of consulting, changes in regulations, and the growing expectations of entrepreneurs towards accounting offices.  Participants will also learn how to build effective cooperation between a law firm and an accounting office and what benefits it brings to both parties.

There will also be a discussion about the challenges facing the industry in the coming years.  Dynamically changing regulations, the digitalization of processes, and increasingly complex customer needs mean that the cooperation of specialists from various fields is not only a competitive advantage, but often a condition for effective service for entrepreneurs.

The panel will be an opportunity to exchange experiences between practitioners who combine knowledge of law and accounting on a daily basis.  Participants will learn examples of good practices and solutions that they can implement in their own organisations.

The 7th Congress of Accounting Offices will be held on September 29–30, 2026 in Targi Kielce. The event agenda will include expert lectures, debates, workshops and a trade fair of modern solutions for the accounting industry. A lawyer and accountant – a duo of the future or a business necessity?  will be one of the discussions devoted to the development of services, the security of running an accounting office and building value for clients.
