The 23rd Ekotech Expo was held under the banner of innovative solutions crafted for waste management!

Smart waste management solutions

The municipal industry's meeting in Targi Kielce abounded with novelties and premiere presentations;  with a plethora of devices that have a positive impact on environmental protection by reducing the amount of waste and saving natural resources. Cyrkl Polska presented an innovative internet platform, i.e. Europe's largest digital industrial waste exchange. Untha presented the latest models of industrial shredders for the waste management industry. The Eurocentrum Polska expo stand hosted hourly demonstrations of the use and functionality of modern waste processing presses. The newest Mamut Eco Compactor for compressing waste also had its premiere. For the first time, the Ekotech welcomed the Bine company with an intelligent device equipped with artificial intelligence. A smart waste bin was also on show here. Two solutions were included in the R3 Polska offer: Recomat and Recomat Mini - beverage containers reverse vending machines which also settle deposits. The appliance for crushing and sorting products it has received as recovery  material was also showcased.

Awards and Distinction of the Ekotech 2023

The first day of the Ekotech included a gala ceremony - the companies presenting their offer at the expo were awarded for the best products. Five companies were distinguished - according to the Jury Panel, these firms  presented the most interesting products:  the  Waste Management and Recycling Cluster, National Key Cluster from Warsaw for the pro-innovative operation of the Cluster, ITO LLC from Działoszyn for the waste recording and data management software for the BDO Register, the Bine LLC from Dąbrowa for its BINE-E SMART WASTE BiN, Ekolog LLC from Poznań for "Ekolog ZDI" - an application used to manage heat source inventory data, and Apriva LLC GP  from Poznań for KECKEX - weed killers - ecological weed removal. Two medals were also awarded. BOLT 5000 rainwater package with a pump from Marseplast LLC from Niepołomice and the regeneration service of SCR catalysts by cartridges replac from Kaliński LLC were recognised.   The companies that could boast of the most innovative expo presentations were also distinguished - they received the Top Design awards. GP Truck Trading SC from Warsaw and Melex LLC from Mielec were pornounced the laureates. The Top Design distinctions for original, elegant and comprehensive expo presentation were awarded to:   C-trace LLC from Poznań and Globtrak Polska LLC  from Kielce.

EKOTECH - the knowledge pool with most recent industry information

The Expo agenda included a number of accompanying events, which marke the show's history of success. On the first day the participants of the municipal industry's meeting were offered the opportunity to take part in the International Waste Management Forum organised by the AK Nova. A series of lectures devoted to environmental documentation, poultry and pig farming activities were offered by Ekolog. On the second day of the trade fair, the seminar   "Together We Create Ekological Świętokrzyskie" was held, the circular economy was the leitmotif of the session. "Vehicle dismantling station - business activities and development prospects" was organised by the Eko-Auto - the Polish Association of Vehicle Disassembly Stations. A meeting of the Association of Rural Communes of the Republic of Poland under the banner of  "Rationalization of waste management and energy supply in municipalities" was also on the agenda. Ekotech included a seminar by Katalizator; it focused on catalytic and thermal solutions designed to reduce volatile organic compounds released in recycling process - "Low-temperature metals recovery from printed circuit boards using catalytic technologies."

Piotr Sikora "Stalowy" - the Featured Guest of the EKOTECH Expo

The special guest of the Ekotech is Piotr Sikora "Stalowy" - the head of Piotro-Stal, the Polish market's leading company in the scrap and demolition sector, also famous for his participation Złomowisko PL show. The meeting with "Stalowy" on 8 March in Targi Kielce attracted crowds of fans;  in an interview with "Stalowy", we will find out how the scrap and demolition market operates. The participants will discuss issues related to the difficulties and challenges faced by vehicle dismantling stations. We will learn about the problem of industrial waste, the ways to manage and process scrap. Piotr Stalowy also explained the Piotro-Stal business profile, its development and and ingredients for success of a business operating for 25 years.

Contests with valuable prizes at the SANTRADE expo stand 

The SANTRADE expo stand was the stage for competitions which can win you valuable prizes;  the arcade competition organised by the Renomet from Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski was the chance to win four tanks for liquids and oils. The 260l tank with a double wall for storing liquid waste was presented to Adam Zieleńczuk, the triumphant of the literary competition. Piotr Sikora "Stalowy" proved to be the best in the knowledge competition, and received the Airbag Deactivator.
