The agreements signed at MSPO cover a broad range of areas – from the integration of advanced observation technologies and unmanned systems, through training solutions, to technologies for maritime applications and the potential development of local production capabilities.

One of WB GROUP’s key partners is WESCAM, a Canadian company specialising in advanced electro-optical and surveillance systems used, among other applications, on airborne, land and maritime platforms. The cooperation envisages the integration of MX-series electro-optical turrets with WB GROUP’s reconnaissance and strike systems. The jointly developed solutions are intended to meet the needs of the armed forces of both Poland and Canada.

Another agreement was signed with Robotics Centre, a Canadian organisation operating in the field of robotics and unmanned systems. The cooperation is intended to support the development and deployment of autonomous and remotely operated platforms, reflecting the growing importance of unmanned technologies on the modern battlefield.

Rosborough Boats has also become a partner of WB GROUP. The Canadian company specialises in the design and manufacture of boats for, among others, uniformed services, the security sector and specialised applications. The agreement opens up opportunities for cooperation in maritime systems and the integration of advanced technologies with platforms used on the water.

The fourth partner is CAE, a Canadian company specialising, among other areas, in training, simulation and training solutions for the defence and aviation sectors. Cooperation with WB GROUP covers areas related to preparing users to operate advanced systems and developing sophisticated training capabilities.

Canada Becomes an Increasingly Important Partner for the Polish Defence Industry

Canada is one of the markets where interest in Polish engineering expertise and solutions developed by the domestic defence industry is clearly growing. This year’s International Defence Industry Exhibition, where Canada is the Leading Country, has created particularly favourable conditions for deepening cooperation between companies from the two countries.

The four agreements concluded by WB GROUP demonstrate that these relations extend beyond the sale of off-the-shelf products to encompass technology integration, the development of joint solutions, local production and the building of long-term industrial partnerships.

The agreements were signed in the presence of Victor Fedeli, Ontario’s Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, and Emmanuelle Lamoureux, Ambassador of Canada to Poland. Their presence underscored the importance of growing Polish-Canadian cooperation and highlighted MSPO’s role as a platform for establishing international partnerships in the security and defence sector.
