Targi Kielce President Honoured with the 15th Anniversary Medal of the Armament Agency
The order awarding the distinction was signed by Lieutenant General Artur Kuptel, Head of the Armament Agency, who personally presented the medal to the President of Targi Kielce. Congratulations were also extended by Paweł Bejda, Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence, and Stanisław Wziątek, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence.
General Kuptel thanked Dr Andrzej Mochoń for many years of cooperation and for creating a space where representatives of the armed forces, public administration and the defence industry can meet. He also emphasised the importance of MSPO as a platform for showcasing equipment, holding talks and signing agreements that contribute to Poland’s security.
– We do not work with medals in mind. It is nevertheless very gratifying to know that you recognise our work. There is no greater satisfaction for us than seeing our guests happy and knowing that what we do makes a difference. That is motivation enough to keep going – said Dr Andrzej Mochoń, President of Targi Kielce.
As a token of appreciation for their many years of cooperation with the Armament Agency, acknowledgements were also presented to Agnieszka Białek, MSPO Project Director, Anna Pisarczyk, Organisational Manager at the Management Board Office, and Urszula Wasińska, Director of the Targi Kielce Congress Centre.
President Andrzej Mochoń stressed that the Armament Agency has participated in the International Defence Industry Exhibition since the very beginning of its existence, and that its presence is of key importance to the event’s programme. MSPO is a platform for showcasing equipment for the armed forces, but above all, it is a place for discussions on the modernisation of the Polish Armed Forces and for signing agreements with Polish and international companies.
The medal is also a recognition of the role played by Targi Kielce and the International Defence Industry Exhibition. This year’s record-breaking edition of MSPO brings together 1,209 exhibitors from 43 countries, alongside representatives of armed forces, public administration and the defence industry from around the world.
