22 June 2026
Doctor Andrzej Mochoń, President of the Management Board of Targi Kielce, was honoured with the Golden Guard statuette during the first edition of the Warsaw Defence Fair. The distinction was awarded for many years of contributions to the development of the Polish exhibition and defence sectors and to building the international position of the International Defence Industry Exhibition.

The award was presented by TIME's CEO, Rafał Arciszewski.  The Chapter appreciated the consistent efforts to develop MSPO, which has been one of the most important platforms for cooperation among the defence industry, the armed forces, and public administration in Europe for almost 35 years.

Under the leadership of Doctor Andrzej Mochoń, the International Defence Industry Exhibition has strengthened its position among the most important defence industry events on the continent. The Expo, held in Kielce, attracts hundreds of exhibitors and tens of thousands of participants from around the world each year, serving as a venue for the presentation of cutting-edge military technologies, business meetings, and debates on security and defence.

The Golden Guard is an expression of recognition for many years of work in developing an event that not only promotes the potential of the Polish defence industry but also strengthens Poland's position as an important partner in international safety and security cooperation.
