Starting 1 February, representatives of companies exhibiting at the 28th International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing PLASTPOL can already prepare to compete in the OMNIPLAST competition. The project aims to popularise knowledge about plastics and their processing technologies. Prestige and valuable prizes await the competition winners.

Representatives of companies exhibiting at Plastpol 2026 may participate in the contest; one person may represent each company. Comprehensive rules and regulations and entry form for the Omniplast competition can be found on the website  - go to plastpol.com

Three stages of competition – step by step

The competition is divided into three stages, the first two of which are conducted electronically:

  • Stage I – qualifying rounds (1 February – 31 March 2026)
After registration, participants will receive a set of 10 questions on plastics processing technology, the properties of polymer materials, and the plastics markets in Poland and Europe. Based on the scores, the best participants will be selected.
  • Stage II – semi-final (1–30 April 2026)
A maximum of 30 participants with the highest number of points will qualify for the semi-finals. Also, at this stage, participants will answer a set of 10 questions, and additional points can be earned for the speed with which they submit their answers.
  • Stage III – Final (19 May 2026, 12:00 p.m.)
The competition final will take place on-site, on the first day of the PLASTPOL 2026 trade fair in Targi Kielce, in written form. The 10 best participants will compete, and the results will determine the winners of OMNIPLAST 2026.

It's worth being part of the contest; it's a great time to gain unique industry knowledge and to explore questions that challenge technologists and technicians. Of course, I also plan to compete in 2026, Tomasz Pyrek announces.
