The 30th Anniversary Jubilee of the PLASTPOL Fair and a Special Distinction for Kamil Perz
As fondly recalled during the gala, the inaugural trade fair in 1997 occupied just a single exhibition hall and brought together 50 companies from 11 countries. Today, PLASTPOL spans every single hall of the Kielce Exhibition and Congress Centre, showcasing an impressive array of innovations from 660 companies representing 36 countries.
Among the celebrated enterprises and organisations honoured were Muehsam, Dopak, Wadim-Plast, Engel, Wittmann Battenfeld Polska, Danje Polymer, Polimarky, Bagsik, KGL, Elbi, Sumitomo Demag Plastic Machinery Polska, Arburg Polska, Plast Line, Asten Group, Grupa Azoty, the PlasticsEurope Polska Foundation, and the Polish Union of Plastics Converters.
A truly exceptional highlight of the gala was the special distinction awarded to Kamil Perz, Director of the PLASTPOL Trade Fair, who has been actively co-creating and expanding the event for 30 years. The Management Board of Targi Kielce presented him with a stunning statuette of Atlas bearing the globe—a powerful symbol of his tireless energy and profound commitment to building one of the most vital trade fairs for the plastics industry in Europe.
At the gala ceremony, deep gratitude was also extended to the PLASTPOL Competition Committee for their years of invaluable work steering the fair's contests and fostering industry-wide growth. Furthermore, a jubilee distinction was presented to MUEHSAM in celebration of its 20th anniversary of business operations, alongside a special expression of thanks to the representatives of ONI for their long-standing presence and lasting contributions to the fair's development.
