On societal resilience from multiple perspectives during MSPO 2026
The program of the Forum, organised by the International Civil and Societal Security Centre alongside Targi Kielce, has been tailored to the challenges states and societies face today. Central to the discussions will be issues related to building societal resilience, information security, civil protection, inter-institutional cooperation, and preparing the public to respond to crises.
The agenda features panel discussions and presentations by experts representing public administration, the armed forces, academia, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector. Participants will discuss, among other topics:
- building societal resilience as a cornerstone of state security,
- cooperation between administration, the military, business, and social organisations,
- information security and countering disinformation,
- cybersecurity and the protection of critical infrastructure,
- education for security and preparing citizens to react in crisis situations,
- best practices that strengthen the resilience of local communities.
The Forum will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences among leaders representing diverse environments and sectors. The shared objective is to develop solutions that enhance state resilience and prepare society to effectively counter modern threats—be they military, hybrid, cyber, or informational.
Organizing the event during MSPO highlights that security today is not just about cutting-edge technologies and defense potential, but equally about an aware, prepared, and cooperative society. The 1st International Forum of Societal Resilience Leaders is set to become a hub for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and building partnerships to strengthen the resilience of the state and its citizens.
The Forum will take place on September 10, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, in the DELTA Room of the Targi Kielce Congress Centre. Participation in the event is possible upon registration on the Forum website.
