MOL Group Chemicals showcases its portfolio at the Plastpol 2026 trade fair. Modern plastics and a meeting with the stars of Industria Kielce

15 May 2026
MOL Group Chemicals will present its offer as one of the leading petrochemical producers in Central Europe. Adding a unique sporting highlight to its presence, the expo stand will also host star players of the Industria Kielce handball team

MOL Group Chemicals is part of the international MOL Group – an integrated oil, gas and petrochemical conglomerate.  By combining refining and petrochemical operations, the company ensures a stable raw material supply and consistently high product quality. Its polyolefin production is based in Tiszaújváros in Hungary and Bratislava in Slovakia.

During the Plastpol trade fair, the company will present a wide portfolio of materials, showcasing polymers, including HDPE, LDPE, and PP, used in rigid and flexible packaging, automotive components, everyday consumer goods, and infrastructure applications.  The materials offered by MOL Group Chemicals address the diverse needs of the European market and the requirements of modern plastics processing industries.

A key element of the company’s strategy is also the development of circular economy solutions.  Both production sites hold ISCC PLUS certification, enabling the use of certified recycled feedstocks from chemical recycling and the production of polymers using a mass-balance approach.  This allows MOL Group Chemicals to support its partners in achieving sustainability and climate goals.

A special attraction at the stand will be a meet-and-greet with players of Industria Kielce.  On Thursday, 21 May 2026, between 13:00 and 14:00, visitors to Hall 5 will have the opportunity to meet handball stars Jorge Maqueda Peno, Alex Dujshebaev and Michał Olejniczak.  Guests and fans will be able to collect autographs, take souvenir photos and talk to some of Europe’s top handball players.

The presence of MOL Group Chemicals at PLASTPOL 2026 combines advanced plastics technologies with sporting excitement and a chance to meet one of Europe’s most successful handball teams.
