Mobile nutrition without compromises. Rieber to present solutions for the military and emergency services at MSPO
The focus will be on mobile field kitchens, thermally insulated containers, and technologies that improve the preparation and distribution of meals in the field.
Modern military operations require not only advanced weaponry, but also efficient logistical support. One of its key elements is the catering system, which must operate reliably regardless of weather conditions, available infrastructure, or the scale of the operation. Rieber has for years been developing solutions that respond precisely to these needs.
One of the products presented during MSPO will be the Bundeswehr thermi containers, designed for the safe transport and dispensing of hot and cold beverages. Thanks to double stainless-steel walls, they effectively maintain temperature, and the leak-proof construction ensures safety during transport. They are available both in versions with heating and without it, which allows them to be adapted to various operational scenarios – from military missions to rescue and humanitarian actions.
The company's stand will also feature a mobile induction kettle with a capacity of 86 litres. The device allows the preparation of meals for several hundred people during a single cooking cycle. The use of 10 kW induction technology and multilayer materials with high thermal conductivity reduces food preparation time and limits energy consumption. The construction was developed with a view to working in mobile field kitchens and catering points organised by emergency services.
Rieber will also present the GNauto system and thermoplates® containers, which improve food logistics from the moment a meal is prepared until it is served. The innovative construction of GNauto reduces storage space by up to 60 per cent, while thermoplates® enable the preparation, storage, transport, and serving of dishes in the same container. The solution eliminates the need to transfer food, speeds up staff work, and helps maintain the high quality of the meals served.
A comprehensive solution from the company is the cateringkitchen – a modular, mobile kitchen for collective catering. The system integrates all stages of the meal preparation process: from the initial processing of products, through cooking and temperature control, to transport and serving. Thanks to its modular design, it can be adapted to the number of people being fed and the nature of the mission being carried out. It proves effective both during military operations and activities related to civil protection or humanitarian aid.
Founded in 1925, the company Rieber GmbH & Co. KG has for a hundred years been developing catering systems for professional users. The solutions manufactured in Germany are used wherever reliability, durability and safety matter – from the armed forces to emergency services and organisations responsible for crisis response.
At MSPO 2026, visitors will be able to familiarise themselves with technologies demonstrating that modern catering logistics is just as essential an element of security as equipment or means of transport. In the context of contemporary operations, the ability to quickly prepare and deliver meals can directly impact the effectiveness of the actions being conducted.
