MKBR has commended – record attendance and key industry challenges
– This is a special edition – we have as many as 700 registered participants and 50 exhibitors, which confirms that MKBR has become the central meeting point for the accounting and tax advisory community – emphasised Bożena Staniak, Vice President of Targi Kielce, during the opening.
In addition to the attendance, participants' attention was also drawn to topics that are currently determining the direction of change in the industry. – We are witnessing clear generational changes in accounting and finance; young specialists are entering the profession who work differently, expect greater flexibility and focus on technology, noted Alina Rudnicka-Acostal, co-organizer of the event, pointing to the process of succession and transformation of work models in accounting offices.
There were also references to legislative challenges. – The National e-Invoice System remains a key issue in the coming months; this solution requires appropriate preparation of accounting offices and entrepreneurs, and the role of accountants in this process cannot be overestimated, emphasized Professor Stanisław Hońko, President of the Accountants Association in Poland.
The inauguration of the congress demonstrated that MKBR not only attracts a record audience but also opens up a discussion about the future of the accounting profession, combining practical aspects of work with reflection on the direction of the entire industry's development.
