Kamil Perz Plastpol Project Director, highlights: The global plastics processing market leaders are brought together in Kielce

14 may 2025
PLASTPOL is a practical and comprehensive event. Targi Kielce’s expo halls are packed with machines working live. From 20 to 23 May, thousands of visitors will learn about cutting-edge technologies at work; this is not just an exhibition – it is a living demonstration of the industry in action. Both the technologies and the raw materials portfolio and production means come from as many as 30 countries around the world.

The 29th edition of the International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing brings together around 600 exhibitors from over 30 countries, representing all key links in the value chain—from machine and equipment manufacturers to raw material suppliers to companies offering services for the plastics industry. More than half of the exhibitors are companies with international capital from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America. Companies from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Spain, the Netherlands, the United States, Portugal, Slovakia, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, Italy, and the United Kingdom will present the offer.  New exhibitors are companies from Canada, Hong Kong, Serbia, Thailand, Ireland, Romania and  India.

More and more foreign companies see the potential of our domestic market, both as a sales place and a location for industrial cooperation. - For many decades, Poland has been the undisputed leader of the plastics processing industry in the Central and Eastern Europe region.  We appreciate well-developed production infrastructure, high-quality technical services, competitive prices, and operational stability. Foreign companies are eager to establish relationships with Polish subcontractors in areas such as injection mould production, recycling, compounding and process automation.

PLASTPOL shapes the industry development directions

The more countries represented, the more the industry benefits.  The plastics processing sector is highly internationalised. Raw materials, technologies, know-how, and innovations flow between countries and continents. Our event keeps attracting new markets, significantly supporting this flow -  PLASTPOL is where companies from around the world present their offers on the international stage and establish cooperation with new contractors. Thus, the show shapes the direction of industry development. They facilitate technology transfer, build collaboration networks and help companies expand into new markets.  On a global scale, PLASTPOL is an important point in the exhibition calendar, especially for companies from Central and Eastern Europe that look for partners, machines and materials to develop their production. Many of these companies return to Kielce every year and treat our event as a permanent point of reference for their activities.

Targi Kielce exhibition space turned into a live factory

The international group of exhibitors also allows for the presentation of the latest world achievements. Visitors can see hundreds of machines, primarily high-technology injection moulding machines that use granulates, extruders, entire production lines, production management systems, and plastic recycling devices, working live. The seven expo halls of Targi Kielce turn into a gigantic working factory again.

Assembly and correct setting of one technological line may take several weeks; it is worth being here to look at the possibilities companies and their products offer. Learning about the precision of machine operation facilitates concrete business conversations; last year's PLASTPOL was record-breaking in terms of international contracts for both machines and raw materials for processing. The presentation of the latest technologies and materials at the 29th edition opens up opportunities for new businesses.

Raw materials also go green

The offer of companies, the production and distribution firms of innovative raw materials, is showcased at the Plastpol trade fair. The offer is exceptionally diverse. Expo stands offer visitors the possibility to learn about the range of polyethene and polypropylene granulates, regranulates, various dyes and additives for plastics, including ecological ones. These new portfolio developments respond to the growing demand for sustainable solutions. and fit into the circular economy.. Companies offering services and solutions for the industry, such as transport, logistics, and others, will put up Expopo stands.

Knowledge and expert debate on the industry’s future

PLASTPOL is not only an exhibition space, but also an arena for industry debate and knowledge transfer. On the eve of the expo, on 19 May, industry experts met at the Plastics Industry Meeting 2025;  the forum is organized by the Polish Union of Plastics Converters, Foundation PlasticsEurope Poland,  Topics pool includes competitiveness and circularity of the European plastics industry and the assumptions of the Green Deal.
