"Plastics as a driver for the development of key industrial sectors."

21 may 2025
The PLASTECH INFO Technical Seminar is an event that has been an essential forum for the exchange of knowledge, experience, and innovation in the plastics processing sector for years. 21 May 2025, PLASTPOL trade fair in Targi Kielce witnesses this year’s seminar. This year's edition will be in cooperation with the website TWORZYWA.PL is focused on the role that plastics play in developing modern industrial sectors

The seminar brought together numerous participants – representatives of industry, science and institutions supporting innovation.  The central thesis was:  "Plastics as a driver for developing key industrial sectors." The presentations and speeches discussed the latest technologies, materials, and solutions for meeting the challenges of the modern market.

The issues discussed included topics related to, among others, process additives and auxiliaries used in the modification of materials, which allow for shaping the properties of final products and optimising production processes. For the first time in PLASTECH INFO's history, the financial aspect of the functioning of plastics industry companies was also considered. Thanks to cooperation with ASB Poland, participants received practical cost and investment management tips in dynamic economic changes.

The seminar, as every year, was in line with the industry's current needs. The topics covered were energy efficiency, ecological raw materials, automation, and the use of artificial intelligence in production processes, which currently define the plastics industry's development directions.

We would like to draw special attention to the importance of plastics as construction materials, without which the functioning of many industrial areas, but above all our everyday life, would be impossible. – said Jacek SZCZERBA, representing the WWW.TWORZYWA.PL website, during the opening of the seminar.

The PLASTPOL trade fair, which set the scene for the seminar, gathered around 600 exhibitors from over 30 countries. They presented modern production lines, machines, and technologies in industrial-like conditions.
