Plastpol 2025 has commenced! The plastics processing market leaders are brought together in Kielce

20 may 2025
For the 29th time, Targi Kielce hosts one of the most important events in the plastics and rubber processing sector in Central and Eastern Europe—the Plastpol International Expo, which runs from 20 to 23 May this year. The latest unveiling brought together 603 companies from 31 countries, and the exhibition halls are once again buzzing with talks, contracts, and innovations

Plastpol connects the international industry, but also shapes its future, he said during the opening conference, Doctor Andrzej Mochoń, President of the Management Board of Targi Kielce. He also emphasised the dynamic development of the show after the pandemic. He announced a new investment: - The new hall, with a 3,000 m² mezzanine, which will house restaurants and conference rooms for over 100 people each, will be operational from 2027 onwards. Thus, it will be possible to think about new events accompanying the Plastpol Expo.

Anna Kozera-Szalkowska, Managing Director of the PlasticsEurope Polska Foundation addressed the situation on the plastics market. - The share of circular plastics in the EU was 14.8%, while globally it was only 9.6% – she noted.  She also pointed out Poland's importance in European production: a 3.3% share in the production of fossil raw materials and 6.1% in mechanical recycling . These numbers show our place in the value chain.

Plastpol is not only about machines working live – injection molding machines, extruders or recycling lines – but also presentations of innovative granulates, additives and dyes, increasingly often in ecological versions. The comprehensiveness attracts thousands of specialists and industry visitors from all over the world.

Doctor Andrzej Mochoń also invited participants to the next event, which is scheduled for 19-22 May 2026.

The 29th International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing PLASTPOL, which will take place from 20 to 23 May 2025.
