Innovation | NECROEXPO 2026: Magnolia Zawiercie to debut its first fully biodegradable urn

23 May 2026
Natural materials, complete biodegradability, and zero microplastics—this is the sustainable solution in the urn segment that Magnolia Zawiercie will unveil at NECROEXPO 2026.

The newly developed model is completely microplastic-free and decomposes under natural conditions in approximately 2 to 3 years.  The urn is suitable for both earth and water burials, and the manufacturer provides certified proof confirming the biodegradability and natural origin of the raw material used in production.

The company emphasises that this solution stands out significantly from currently available biodegradable urns, which are often manufactured from materials like PLA.

In addition to the new eco-friendly model, visitors to the Magnolia Zawiercie expo stand will be able to view the company’s established line of metal and plastic urns

The manufacturer has also announced plans to enter this innovative new product into the NECROEXPO 2026 trade fair competition.
