Further Contracts Signed by the Armament Agency at MSPO to Strengthen Poland’s Security on Land and at Sea
The first contract was signed with XY-Sensing Sp. z o.o. It covers the delivery of PCL passive location radars, which will be used to monitor Polish airspace, particularly along the country’s eastern border.
The second contract was signed by the Armament Agency with the Research and Development Centre for Maritime Technology S.A. The agreement, worth approximately PLN 67 million gross, provides for the delivery of more than 1,000 remotely initiated TOCZEK underwater explosive charges. The order is scheduled for delivery between 2027 and 2029.
The contract-signing ceremony was attended by Paweł Bejda, Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence, and Stanisław Wziątek, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence.
“We are acquiring charges designed to destroy naval mines, thereby enhancing safety at sea. At the same time, radars deployed in eastern Poland will enable us to detect even small objects entering our airspace,” stressed Paweł Bejda.
Paweł Bejda also highlighted the scale of the 34th MSPO, which brings together 1,209 exhibitors from 43 countries, including more than 500 Polish companies. He wished exhibitors and visitors productive discussions, valuable business contacts and the signing of agreements that will contribute to the security of the Republic of Poland.
Podpisane kontrakty potwierdzają, że Międzynarodowy Salon Przemysłu Obronnego jest nie tylko miejscem prezentacji sprzętu, lecz także podejmowania decyzji przekładających się na zdolności Sił Zbrojnych RP i rozwój krajowego przemysłu obronnego.
