Celebration of the 10th Świętokrzyska Territorial Defence Brigade in Targi Kielce
The focal point of the celebrations was a ceremonial roll call, during which 16 soldiers of the 10th ŚBOT were promoted to the first non-commissioned officer rank. This was a special moment highlighting the formation's development and the commitment of the soldiers serving to secure the region and the country.
During the ceremony, the commander of the 10th Świętokrzyska Territorial Defence Brigade, Colonel Sławomir Machniewicz , highlighted the special role of the Territorial Defence Forces and the dedication of the soldiers and their families. "We are there where people need us," emphasized the brigade commander, thanking the soldiers for their daily service, readiness to act in crisis situations, and involvement in local communities.
Following the roll call, the Świętokrzyska Territorial Defence Brigade was honoured with awards presented to individuals and institutions who have made significant contributions to the formation's development and support its activities. Among the honorees were veterans, representatives of organisations collaborating with the brigade, and individuals actively involved in the Territorial Defence Forces.
The honorees also included representatives of Targi Kielce: Andrzej Mochoń, President of the Management Board; Bożena Staniak, Vice President of the Management Board; and Arkadiusz Krzeczkowski, Director of the Trade Fairs Department. The 10th Świętokrzyska Territorial Defence Brigade's Feast Day is celebrated on June 11th.
