Ubiq Aerospace is a sub-system provider based in Trondheim, Norway. Built on Norwegian innovation and NASA engineering expertise, Ubiq develops cutting-edge technologies to address some of the aerospace sector’s most demanding challenges.
Its flagship solution is D•ICE, the world’s only autonomous, SWaP-optimized ice detection and protection system for unmanned aerial systems. D•ICE provides everything an unmanned aerial system needs to operate reliably in cold and humid environments, also known as icing conditions.
Ubiq is also developing its own nano synthetic aperture radar (nSAR), further expanding its capabilities for advanced sensing and operations in demanding environments. The nSAR will provide unmanned aerial systems with sensing capabilities in weather conditions where optics go blind.
Together, the D•ICE and nSAR will enable unmanned aerial systems to defy harsh weather conditions and complete missions that are currently impossible to execute.
