The Spanish Association of Defence, Security, Aeronautics and Space Technology Companies (TEDAE) brings together 145 companies representing the entire value chain of these strategic sectors in Spain. Its membership includes both leading large enterprises and highly specialised SMEs, all committed to generating innovation, knowledge and cutting-edge technology.
The industries represented by TEDAE are a key driver of the country’s economic, industrial and technological development. Collectively, they generate more than 75,000 highly skilled direct jobs and achieve an annual turnover exceeding €16 billion. Their strong international outlook—reflected in the fact that 61% of their sales are generated in export markets—together with an investment of 9.1% in R&D&I, reinforces their position as a benchmark on the global stage.
TEDAE works to promote the internationalisation of its member companies and serves as the representative voice of the sector before Spanish and European public authorities. It also actively participates in Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD).
