Description
Łukasiewicz – PORT is an interdisciplinary research and development institute combining expertise in materials engineering, microelectronics, photonics, biotechnology, and data analysis.
For the defence and security sector, it develops technologies supporting, among other areas, the detection of chemical, biological, and radiological threats, sensor and photonic systems, high-frequency electronics for radar and communications, functional and protective materials, as well as solutions in cybersecurity and hybrid threat analysis.
Łukasiewicz – PORT also conducts research on technologies supporting diagnostics, countering biological threats, wound treatment, and health protection. With its extensive laboratory infrastructure and multidisciplinary teams, the institute supports technology development from the research and materials stage, through demonstrators and validation, to solutions designed for practical applications.
