# RCM DEFENCE – Polish dual-use defence systems and UGV transport
RCM DEFENCE is a Polish manufacturer of dual-use engineering systems for civilian and defence operations. We develop solutions for operational mobility, UGV transport, critical infrastructure protection, and the rapid deployment of field infrastructure and shelters. By combining engineering, steel fabrication and reinforced-concrete production, we deliver complete, scalable systems for the Armed Forces, uniformed services and local authorities.
At this year’s exhibition, RCM DEFENCE will unveil three systems:
## 1. RCM MANTIS – modular UGV logistics and engineering system
RCM MANTIS is an open platform for transporting, deploying and supporting unmanned ground vehicles. It is based on the RCM Raptor trailer or the RCM Tactical Body multifunctional dual-use tipper body, fitted with patented, automatically controlled tailgate ramps. These allow remote UGV dismount without additional personnel.
Depending on the configuration, the system can operate as a UGV transporter, tipper, mobile resupply point, logistics platform, engineering equipment carrier or rescue platform. One base platform supports multiple missions, reduces the logistics burden and improves operational readiness.
## 2. RCM SKYWALL – modular dual-use infrastructure protection system
RCM SKYWALL combines an engineering obstacle, anti-vehicle barrier and mobile foundation for support structures and anti-drone netting. It enables rapid creation of layered protection zones around military facilities, depots, industrial plants, energy installations, command posts and critical infrastructure.
In peacetime, the components secure sites and organise space. Under threat, they strengthen protection against vehicles and FPV drones.
## 3. RCM modular shelters – dual-use protective infrastructure
RCM Bastion and RCM Rapid Fort are prefabricated systems for rapid construction of protective infrastructure. They can be installed below or above ground, connected into larger layouts and configured as personnel shelters, storage areas, technical facilities or protected operational spaces. Their modular design allows expansion as requirements change. The systems are intended for the Armed Forces, public administration, local authorities and industry.

RCM BASTION
RCM BASTION
It is a modular dual-use shelter system developed by RCM for the rapid deployment of protective infrastructure. The structure is assembled from prefabricated concrete LEGO-type blocks, enabling fast installation, dismantling, expansion and reconfiguration. The system can provide protection for personnel, equipment, vehicles, communication posts, unmanned systems and operational infrastructure. In peacetime, BASTION can serve as a storage facility, technical bay, logistics facility or protective element for industrial and municipal infrastructure. Its modular architecture allows linear, corner, enclosed and multi-compartment configurations, while the length and height can be adapted to operational requirements. The structure can be relocated and reused multiple times. It is also designed to be covered with soil, supporting effective camouflage and integration into the surrounding terrain.
RCM BASTION is a modular shelter system made of prefabricated reinforced concrete “LEGO-type” elements. The standard internal width of the structure is 4.2 m, while its length and height can be adapted by changing the number and arrangement of modules. Wall thickness is 60 cm. The system uses elements measuring 60 × 60 × 60 cm, 90 × 60 × 60 cm, 120 × 60 × 60 cm, 180 × 60 × 60 cm and 240 × 60 × 60 cm. Their respective weights are approximately 0.5 t, 0.75 t, 1 t, 1.5 t and 2 t. The reinforced concrete roof element measures 540 × 60 × 30 cm and weighs approximately 2.7 t. The modular design enables rapid assembly, expansion, dismantling, relocation and reuse. BASTION can be configured according to the required size and function of the facility. The structure is also designed to be covered with soil, supporting effective camouflage and integration into the surrounding terrain.

RCM Rapid Fort
RCM RAPID FORT is a modular fortification system designed for the rapid deployment of protective infrastructure in field conditions. Its bolted modular construction enables barriers of the required length as well as linear, corner and enclosed layouts. The system can protect personnel, operating bases, logistics points, critical infrastructure and areas supporting UGV operations. RAPID FORT can be used to create physical barriers, fragmentation protection, protective chambers and separated functional zones without lengthy construction works. The modules can be expanded in stages, dismantled, relocated and reused. The system can be covered or filled with locally available material, including soil, sand or aggregate, improving camouflage while reducing logistical requirements. Its dual-use architecture supports military, civilian infrastructure protection and crisis-response applications.
RCM RAPID FORT uses a modular reinforced-concrete structure designed for rapid assembly, expansion, dismantling and reuse. The standard internal space is 3 m wide and 2 m high, with 25 cm thick walls. The internal span is fixed, while the overall length varies according to the number of modules used. The middle module is 99 cm wide. The standard middle module weighs 7,160 kg, the opening middle module 4,620 kg, and the closing element 5,766 kg. The reinforced-concrete covering element measures 540 × 60 × 30 cm and weighs approximately 2.7 t. Bolted elements allow the system to be arranged in linear, corner and enclosed layouts, as well as protective chambers and separated functional spaces. RAPID FORT can be covered or filled with soil, sand or aggregate available at the deployment site, reducing material transport requirements and improving camouflage. Its modular architecture supports staged infrastructure development, relocation and integration with other protective elements. Different variants, element types and system configurations are available on request, depending on the intended application and project requirements.

**Anti-drone infrastructure dual-use protection system**
RCM SKYWALL is a modular infrastructure protection system combining an engineering obstacle and anti-vehicle barrier with passive protection against drones. The system is based on prefabricated reinforced-concrete RCM Star Blocks featuring integrated mounting openings for posts, support structures and anti-drone nets designed to protect against FPV drones and other unmanned aerial threats.
The openings can also accommodate masts for acoustic detectors, short-range radars, and components of soft-kill and hard-kill systems. Its modular design enables rapid deployment of multi-layer protection zones around military facilities, critical infrastructure, ammunition storage sites, energy and industrial facilities, warehouses and logistics areas.

**RCM SKYWALL** is a modular infrastructure protection system based on prefabricated reinforced RCM Star Blocks manufactured from high-quality concrete in accordance with customer requirements and specifications. Each element can feature an integrated mounting opening for rapid installation of a post or support structure for an anti-drone net.
Depending on the application, support structures can be manufactured from steel or composite materials. RCM selects the appropriate solution according to operating conditions and customer requirements, taking into account the different properties of each material.
The netting can also be individually configured – from basic protective solutions to more advanced variants offering increased strength or camouflage properties. The modular design of RCM SKYWALL allows the Star Blocks, support structures and netting to be adapted to the specific facility, required level of protection and operational conditions.

RCM Tactical Body
RCM Tactical Body is a multifunctional dual-use tipper body designed for transport, logistics and engineering operations. It combines the capabilities of a conventional tipper, an equipment transport platform and a vehicle carrier for transporting vehicles and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs).
The hydraulically operated tipper body enables efficient unloading of bulk materials, including sand, soil, gravel, rubble and materials used in engineering works. Integrated folding ramps allow UGVs and light vehicles to be loaded, while the open cargo area can be used to transport pallets, crates, generators and specialist equipment.
The design is intended for intensive operation in demanding conditions. A single body enables the vehicle to support military logistics, engineering operations, crisis response, as well as civilian and infrastructure tasks.

The side structure can be hydraulically extended by up to **700 mm**, increasing the usable loading area. The floor is manufactured from **6 mm Hardox 450 steel**, while the side panels use **5 mm Hardox 450**, providing high resistance to abrasion, impact and intensive field operation.
Both side panels are hydraulically operated. Integrated hydraulic folding loading ramps enable efficient loading and unloading of UGVs, vehicles and engineering equipment. The system can be controlled through an operator panel, radio remote control or directly via hydraulic distributor levers.
