Description
As part of EDGE Group’s Platforms & Systems cluster, POWERTECH specialises in the design, development and manufacture of high-performance aero engines and complete propulsion systems for defence and civil aerospace applications, with a particular focus on unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and autonomous platforms.
Established in 2025 to address growing global demand for advanced propulsion systems, POWERTECH is developing a diverse portfolio of application-specific solutions spanning internal combustion, turbojet, and medium- to large-size turbofan technologies. The company manages the entire propulsion lifecycle from research and development, design and prototyping through testing and production, combining deep technical expertise with advanced engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
POWERTECH's portfolio supports a broad range of defence, aerospace and autonomous systems, providing customers with reliable propulsion solutions tailored to specific platform and operational needs. The company is focused on expanding its international customer base and building long-term relationships with industry partners in key markets.
Poland is an important market within this international growth strategy. POWERTECH is seeking to engage with Polish customers, aerospace and defence companies, engineering organisations and other industry stakeholders to understand national requirements and identify opportunities for cooperation. Its ambition extends beyond supplying propulsion systems to exploring opportunities for deeper industrial collaboration, including local engineering, manufacturing, supply-chain participation, talent development and technology cooperation, where appropriate.
As an EDGE company, POWERTECH benefits from access to a broader ecosystem of advanced technologies and complementary capabilities. This enables the company to pursue partnerships and develop solutions that can be integrated across wider aerospace and autonomous systems programmes.
POWERTECH is building its international presence through an open, partnership-led approach, working with established companies and emerging technology businesses to create mutually beneficial industrial relationships. In markets such as Poland, the company aims to contribute its propulsion expertise while supporting the development of local industrial and technological capability.
With its growing portfolio, expanding international ambitions and focus on application-specific propulsion solutions, POWERTECH is positioning itself as a long-term partner for customers and industry seeking high-performance propulsion technologies.
