Warsaw University of Technology is one of Poland’s leading universities, educating more than 20,000 students and employing 5,000 staff members. For many years, it has ranked among Poland’s top universities and has been one of the most frequently selected R&D partners for thousands of companies. The university’s Centre for Innovation is responsible for commercializing intellectual property developed by its students and staff, as well as supporting them in establishing and growing their own businesses. In recent years, there has been a clear increase in companies’ interest in solutions developed at WUT, resulting in a steady growth in commercialization revenues.

Warsaw University of Technology also aspires to be an important centre for shaping technological thinking in the field of security and defence, continuing the university’s long-standing tradition in this area. Research and development activities in this field are coordinated by the University Research Centre for Defence and Security.

At this year’s MSPO, four university spin-offs will be presented at the Warsaw University of Technology stand: ExoFrame, NeuroNavi Systems, SkyRad and XY-Sensing. Their presence demonstrates how knowledge and technologies developed at Warsaw University of Technology are being transformed into innovative solutions addressing real-world needs in the security and defence sector.
