Lodz University of Technology (Research Centre for Defence and Security Technologies – CBOB PŁ) conducts interdisciplinary research and develops innovative technologies for defence, national security and civil protection. We combine research expertise with experience in designing, prototyping, testing and implementing dual-use solutions tailored to the needs of the Polish Armed Forces, uniformed services, emergency and rescue services, and industry.
At MSPO 2026, we will present technologies from six areas of expertise: textiles and textronics, unmanned systems, optoelectronics and thermal imaging, electromagnetics and shielding, advanced materials and coatings, and biomedical engineering and biotechnology (Defence and Security Research Centre | Lodz University of Technology).

SEMINAR ORGANISED BY LODZ UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, INVEST IN ŁÓDŹ AND THE JASTRZĄB ALLIANCE
We invite you to attend the seminar entitled “Implementation and Investment Potential of Polish Civilian Universities in the Defence Sector”, which will take place on 10 September 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in Conference Room 503 in Hall 5.
The programme will include a presentation of Lodz University of Technology’s dual-use technologies, the investment and business potential of Łódź, and funding opportunities for technology transfer.
The second part of the seminar will feature an open meeting of the JASTRZĄB Alliance and an expert panel devoted to implementing solutions developed by civilian universities in the defence sector.
