It is an optical device of the sight and is used to aim the launcher horizontally during indirect fire (from covered firing positions) and horizontally as well as vertically during direct fire (straight ahead).
Panoramic periscope sight is an angled telescope, consisting of a stationary lower part with an eyepiece scope and a rotating head. On the stationary part there is a hook for attaching the telescope, and the sighting box is attached to the movable part.
