Niewiadów Polska Grupa Militarna S.A. (NPGM) is a Polish capital group operating in the defence sector and in the field of dual-use technologies. The company is listed on the Main Market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The Group was established through the merger of Polska Grupa Militarna S.A. and Grupa Niewiadów S.A., integrating industrial, research and development, and production capabilities for security and defence applications.
A key area of NPGM’s activity is the development of capabilities in ammunition and munitions, in particular medium- and large-calibre ammunition. The Group is developing competencies in ammunition production, explosive filling, assembly, storage, logistics, research and testing. NPGM is focused on launching and expanding production capabilities covering, among others, 155 mm artillery ammunition, 60 mm mortar ammunition and 40 mm grenade launcher ammunition, including 40×46 mm LV and 40×53 mm HV rounds. The Group’s activities also include engineering systems, unmanned and autonomous technologies, and specialist defence equipment.
NPGM’s facilities comprise more than 100 hectares of industrial land, production infrastructure, storage facilities for explosives and combat assets, as well as the Niewiadów Research and Development Centre with a private ballistic test range. The Group has the capabilities required to conduct research, trials and field tests of munitions of various calibres.
The Group carries out projects with foreign technology and industrial partners, developing national production capabilities and becoming part of European and global defence-sector supply chains.
NPGM is a member of Združenie bezpečnostného a obranného priemyslu Slovenskej republiky (ZBOP), one of the key organisations associating companies and institutions from the security and defence sector in Central Europe.
