Description
JB Tacticals goes beyond supplying equipment. We identify challenges faced by rescuers and uniformed services during real operations and translate them into our own products. We combine operational experience, cooperation with the scientific community and efficient implementation of new solutions. This enables us to develop technologies for emergency medicine, the military, uniformed services and civil protection.
Our equipment is supplied to the Police, Border Guard, military units and emergency services. We have also fulfilled direct orders for NATO. This experience has taught us that in critical situations, what matters is not the number of features on paper, but simplicity, reliability and the ability to act immediately.
The fullest expression of this philosophy is A.C.T. Bandage™ – Active Compression Treatment Bandage. Developed in cooperation with the scientific community, this Polish dressing for controlling massive haemorrhage combines active compression, broad-surface pressure and an integrated wound-packing system. It was designed for use under time pressure, while wearing gloves, in darkness, in rain and during casualty evacuation.
A.C.T. integrates a highly elastic bandage, a segmented pressure-absorbent pad and an approximately 90 cm wound-packing sleeve. Compressed inserts within the pad generate pressure from the first wrap. Upon contact with blood, they expand and reinforce local compression. The solution uses a physical mechanism without chemical haemostatic agents.
The ready-to-use sleeve contains 5 PowerBall compression elements in the A.C.T. 10 cm variant and 8 in the A.C.T. 15 cm variant. Upon contact with blood, they expand, creating multiple pressure points inside the wound. The rescuer does not need to unroll, prepare or manually shape gauze. If wound packing is not required, the module can serve as an additional pressure element. The hook-and-loop fastener stabilises the dressing after the first wrap, prevents it from unravelling and facilitates further application.
A.C.T. is not another variation of an existing pressure dressing. It represents a new approach to one of the most demanding challenges in battlefield medicine and emergency care. The solution is protected by Polish utility model PL W.132293 and international patent application PCT/PL2025/050060. The project demonstrates that a Polish company can not only supply equipment but also create proprietary technology with international potential.
JB Tacticals also develops JB-RS FORTIS 5272 pneumatic rescue tents, inflatable training obstacles and replicas of ammunition, vehicles, tanks and soldiers for battlefield simulation. Our portfolio also includes tactical accessories, load-bearing equipment, personal gear and first-aid solutions.
We create equipment designed to perform wherever decisions must be made in seconds and human lives may depend on its effectiveness.
