FibreCoat GmbH is an advanced materials company specialising in coated fibre technologies for defence and security applications. Its patented bi component multi filament yarns, based on basalt or glass fibre cores with a continuous aluminium coating, combine the mechanical advantages of fibres with the electrical and thermal functionality of metals.
FibreCoat’s core defence material platform, AluCoat®, delivers effective protection against electromagnetic threats, including EMI, EMP and high power microwave radiation. In addition, FibreCoat develops radar absorbing materials (RAM) designed to reduce detectability across a broad frequency range.
