EXCOR Sp. z o.o. – VCI Corrosion Protection for the Defence Sector
EXCOR is a Polish manufacturer of anti-corrosion packaging and protection systems based on Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) technology. We have been operating since 1997 as the Polish partner of Northern Technologies International Corporation (NTIC), owner of the ZERUST®/EXCOR® technology, and as part of its international partner network. Our production and laboratory facilities are located in Łódź, and the company operates under a certified ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
GREASE-FREE PRESERVATION OF WEAPONS AND MILITARY EQUIPMENT
VCI technology replaces conventional preservation with protective oils and greases. Volatile inhibitors are released from the packaging and form an invisible layer on the metal surface that blocks the electrochemical processes leading to corrosion. Once the packaging is opened, the inhibitors dissipate on their own — the item remains clean, free of residues, and requires no washing or degreasing before use. For military logistics this means fewer preservation inspections, shorter preparation time before equipment is issued, and higher readiness of materiel held in mobilisation depots and tactical reserves.
APPLICATIONS
Small arms and individual weapons (barrels, bolts, trigger mechanisms), vehicle and engineering equipment components, metal parts of ammunition and missile system hardware, onboard electronics and communication systems, fixed installations, and components used in modernisation programmes.

HOW WE WORK
We begin by auditing the customer's process. Proposed solutions are validated in climatic chambers in Poland, Germany and the USA, reproducing actual storage and transport conditions. Samples are provided free of charge; trial shipments with temperature and humidity logging, as well as inspections at the final consignee, are available.
