Develagro — dual-use protective structures
We design and build protective structures — shelters and hardened facilities — in classes U1–S3.
Built and tested. We have completed a class S1/S2 protective structure, tested under live-fire range conditions on a simulated battlefield. The facility complies with the current design guidelines issued under the Polish Civil Protection and Civil Defence Act. Our structural solutions are developed in scientific cooperation with Poznań University of Technology, under the academic supervision of Prof. Piotr Sielicki, DSc, PhD, Eng., a specialist in blast and impact resistance of structures.
Develagro ITS technology. Our structures are based on Develagro ITS, our proprietary thermally insulated permanent formwork. The formwork remains in the structure as an insulating layer while the monolithic reinforced concrete is cast in an arched form. This combines the speed and repeatability of steel assembly with the resistance of a concrete monolith — at an envelope U-value of 0.062–0.082 W/(m²·K), roughly twice as good as the passive-house requirement.
Dual-use: a building that works every day. A protective structure does not have to be a dormant cost. Our buildings serve a full everyday function — sports hall, warehouse, municipal facility or garage — and convert to civilian shelter in a crisis. Their thermal performance allows them to operate as very low-energy buildings with no compromise on protection. We deliver facilities for groups of up to 1500 people.
A complete solution. We deliver not just the structure but a finished protective facility, including filtration-ventilation and life-support systems supplied by our partners and proven under real wartime conditions.
Track record. Develagro delivers arched-technology buildings for the sports, agricultural and industrial sectors. Our protective-construction segment is built on that execution experience and our own production capability.
